Broadcast Pix Multi-View
Slate switchers are the only switchers with a built-in Multi-View
monitoring system, and it is standard on all Slate models. All other
production switchers require the purchase of an expansive separate box
to provide some Multi-View capabilities, but not the intimate feedback
provided to the switcher operator with Broadcast Pix.
Full Motion Monitoring of Program, Preview and Sources
Every Slate includes on-screen monitoring of preview, program and
sources in full motion video so do not need to buy video monitors,
unless you want to. Live inputs and both clip stores have motion, and
other sources use thumbnails. Tally red on air, and orange on preview.
The switcher has traditional video outputs of program, preview and
other outputs, so individual video monitors can still be used if
desired, but Multi-View most is so powerful that most users skip the
expense and space for traditional monitors.

Key Monitors
You always know exactly what is on every keyer, with a thumbnail for
each. They dynamically change when you assign a source to a key or
change the graphic loaded. Clearly see tally, rates, and if a DVE or
chromakey is applied.
Libraries
Find content easily on the PixPad which shows the library of thumbnails
for the selected source, and can follow the active source on the
switcher’s panel.
Dual Monitor for a Second Operator
All Slate switchers support dual monitor, so when you want a separate
graphic station just add a monitor for the CG, and add a SoftPanel, a
PixPad library, and even duplicate the full motion program and preview
monitors.
Switch on an Intuitive Moving Monitor Wall
You can even use the Broadcast Pix Multi-View to drive a show, in place
of a panel or as a as a complement to one. Use a touchscreen or mouse
to select sources, select graphics and clips from the libraries, add
keys, and take preview to air.
