 Macros
Powerful Macros recall a sequence of moves, which can include every switcher move as well all the integrated devices. Fluent Macros even remember file names, while conventional switchers cannot remember names of any graphics or clips. For example, with one press you can select a camera on preview, change its preset position, bring it to air, fade on its specific title from the CG store, and fade off the title. Record Macros by pressing the sequence of desired buttons, and then fine tune them on the comprehensive graphical user interface shown.
The Macros Editor, shown below, allows you to modify the details of your macro, from timing information to customized note fields. First, record macros by pressing the sequence of desired buttons on the control panel or Multi-View, and then fine tune them on the comprehensive editor. Insert new steps easily and move steps around at a click of a button. Changing content is easily, simply click on the thumbnail and select your new file.

The Macros Player, shown above, allows you to playback your created macros. 4 banks containing up to 100 macro files can be assigned. The macros can be easily sorted by name and/or button color. To fire off the macro simply select the desired button with a mouse or place the Macro Player on a touch screen for a more tactile feel or assign macros to a General Purpose Input (GPI) and trigger them remotely. Control your macros from the interface or directly from the control panel in the MEM device control. All timing and macro information will appear in the Macro Player for constant feedback.
With Fluent Macros you can truly automate your entire Slate system. Every control available on the switcher is accessible through Macros. Great in complex productions, such as news, where one button push can set up and recall various switcher functions like triple DVE boxes with the appropriate background graphics. Or in educational or houses of worship where staff is primarily made up of volunteers. Make your novices look like a professional with a click of a button, have more advanced users create macros ahead of time, then during production volunteers can easily select them.
Fluent Macros are ideal in sports/event coverage. Instead of cutting or wiping to your slo-motion replay, transition it with your own custom logo with an Alpha Wipe. Create your transition in your favorite animation editor and export it as a 32 bit image sequence. Once converted, Fluent Macros takes control. Have various macros select different transitional wipe effects played out of the Fluent Clipstore with key and audio, and since macros are file-based they don't even need to be active in your show taking up space on your PixPad, the macro will play them directly from your harddrive.
