Broadcast Pix video production systems are available in a variety of size from in two families: Slate and Granite. All run Fluent workflow software, the ultimate live production software.


Slate Hybrid Video Production Systems

Slate systems excel in hybrid applications, as each model can be configured with various combinations of HD, SD, analog and DVI inputs and outputs. Slate is also proven in demanding applications in over 70 countries. The table below compares the various Slate models. External inputs are for cameras and other live video sources. Granite HD Video Production Systems


Granite system are a new family of HD/SD systems that is upgradeable in the future to 1080p. All include a separate Granite switcher and Granite Server. Like Slate they have 100, 1000 and 5000 models, and external inputs are for cameras and other live video sources, while file inputs are the video and key inputs from the built-in clip and graphics stores. All Broadcast Pix system feature unprecedented upgradability. So you can start anywhere and grow anywhere. For example, start with a Slate or Granite 100 and upgrade to a 1000 by adding a panel, and on to a 5000 by adding a larger panel. Start with a Slate and upgrade to a Granite.
