Self Help Guide - Home

Introduction:

These Self Help Guides are designed to help users work through common situations that may occur when using the Broadcast Pix Switcher System. Currently these are primarily Slate related tools. As always, your best source is right at your finger tips, the User Manual located in the Help menu in the Broadcast Pix software application.

These guides has been split into broad categories to help you troubleshoot specific areas without having to search through large amounts of information.  On each page, you will see a menu of common situations that are usually easily fixed with simple wiring or a setting change within the Broadcast Pix application.  Those menu items will jump you down to that section on the page.

Each section begins with a description of the symptoms the system may be experiencing and then follows with some simple troubleshooting steps that the you can perform quickly and easily to help you move forward.  If you have tried these things and have not come to a resolution on your situation, please do not hesitate to contact our Technical Support Department.

This guide has been designed for the Broadcast Pix Slate Series and Slate G Series of Software.  For older models of Studio and Targa, please refer to the user manual included in the software application.

whyy.jpgWith Rapid CG, we were able to efficiently handle the AP News Wire feed and automatically update results. As a public broadcaster, we’ve never been able to do that before, because systems in the past were too expensive.”
